Hyden Yoo rocks the Soho House

It was all about rockabilly at Soho house on Thursday as designer Hyden Yoo held court in the fifth floor library of the infamous New York club during his Fall 2011 Presentation

Setting the scene as part lost-weekend- party and part fashion performance art, Yoo had models sipping cocktails at the bar, whispering conspiratorially to on another in darkened corners, and playing an animated game of poker center stage, all while members of the media mingled among them.

According to the designer he was inspired by the "Teddy boys and Girls that were a cultural phenomenon that took place in England in the 1950's which combined Edwardian styles of the time that were popular with British youth, and eventually went on to be associated with American Rock n' Roll."
