Local feature: Students rock the runway at CCA

Students from California College of the Arts  unveiled their work on the runway Friday night in San Francisco for the Spring 2014 Senior show. Bursting with creativity, and high-quality execution, the show spoke volumes about the talent of the students and the high-level education they have recieved. 

Students participating in the show included: Tasleem Lee, Lily Lei, Sindia Lin, Erick Lopez, Sarah Mayer, Samantha McDermott-Goldie, Michelle Nam, MK Nguyen, Jeff Pacis, Jasmine Smith, Dagmar Spichale Krynski, Jun Yin, Shan Zhang, Shirley Chong, Shanny Delong, Ali Gold, Lichelle-Anne Gonzales, Laurel Hellman, Sam Howell.

Of these students, San Francisco based magazine 7x7 had the unenviable task of selecting a winner for their "emerging designer" award which honors new talent in the field of fashion. Erick Lopez was chosen as the night's winner for his highly creative sports inspired "Modified" collection.
