Son Jung Wan: cool luxury

One of the biggest names in Korean fashion, Son Jung Wan brought her collection to Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week for the first time on Thursday morning.

Already a mega-brand in her home country,  the Son Jung Wan Fall 2011 New York debut was a highly anticipated event for the designer.

image: S. Whittle for Style WyldeWith a creamy pallet of neutrals, the collection felt like a perfect fit for the international jet set crowd, and could easily be pictured at film festivals and fire side in Aspen.

Clearly a draw for the next generation of fashion industry hopefuls, the Son Jung Wan show filled the Studio space at Lincoln Center nearly to capacity with students, bloggers, and young freelancers.
