Dear Haikusue:

I really want a dog. REALLY want a dog. I can’t stop thinking about long walks in the park, playing Frisbee, teaching it hilarious tricks and all the great things dogs bring into a person’s life. BUT I am also afraid that a dog will be more work then I am ready for. I worry about picking up the poo, never being able to go on vacation without a walker/sitter, and the total destruction of my furniture. Do these worries mean I am not ready for a dog?
