Creating a beauty look to match the Spring 2013 collection of Korea's most respected designer, Son Jung Wan  is not a task for newbies. To ensure a flawless look that would compliment the Miro-inspired designs, the label brought in the most elite artists in the world, Shiseido Japan's Tokyo based team for makeup and the ultra talented stylists from Prive for hair.

Style Wylde caught up with the teams backstage before the show to get a sneak peek at what they were creating, and to get the low down on the products they used for the show. Here's what they told us, first the make-up:

The collection's lush and vibrant, art-inspired mood required makeup that would not compete with the clothing for attention. To achieve this perfect beauty-balance the Shiseido team, led by Shiseido Creative Director Miyako Okamoto started with Shiseido Multi Energizing cream to moisturize and prep skin. Next, Shiseido Hydro-Liquid Compact foundation was applied to perfect skin while keeping everything dewy and fresh. From there, attention was focused on the lips. To offset the dewy skin, the team created a  simple, muted matte lip using Shiseido Perfect Rouge in Arielle applied with a brush and blotted down to remove shine. (pictured left) To finish the look, the team added several coats of  Shiseido Perfect Mascara Full Definition to open and accentuate the otherwise nude eye.

At the same time the makeup was underway, the professional team from Prive Salon, led by Laurent D was creating a brilliantly complicated look utilizing extensions and serious braiding skills.

Finally to completely finish the look, nails were given a subtle buff finish ( as was the major trend of Fashion Week) with two coats of Chanel polish in Ballet Pink.
